Jamie Digilormo has a B.A. and M.A. in Cultural Anthropology from Louisiana State University, with concentrations in African and African American Studies, Italian Studies, and Linguistic Anthropology. She has worked on multiple projects in Louisiana, which have focused on a range of topics from Environmental Racism to subsistence practices, and from the New Orleans Jazz Fest to racial identity amongst Sicilian Americans. In her spare time, Jamie like to play her guitars, ride motorcycles, and go crabbing in the marshes of south Louisiana.
