Marco Canevelli is a Neurologist and Research Associate at the Department of Human Neuroscience, Sapienza University of Rome and at the National Center for Disease Prevention and Health Promotion, Italian National Institute of Health. His main research interests deal with the relationship between frailty and cognition, neuropsychiatric symptoms of dementia, ethical and methodological issues in the approach to cognitive disturbances, and cognitive disorders in migrants and ethnic minorities. He is the principal investigator of the “Dementia in immigrants and ethnic minorities living in Italy: clinical-epidemiological aspects and public health perspectives” (GR-2016-02364975)” project, funded by the Italian Ministry of Health, aimed at characterizing the issue of dementia amongst migrants in Italy under a clinical and epidemiological perspective. He is member of the Board of the Italian Association of Neuroepidemiology (NEP) and of the Italian Society of Dementia (SINdem). He is Associate Editor of the Journal of Frailty & Aging, member of the Editorial Board of Journal of Nutrition, Health and Aging and Journal of the American Medical Health Directors.
